Coastal Fuels Droogvallei Colliery is located in the province of Mpumalanga South Africa and situated about 245 km east of Johannesburg (via N12 and N4) and 7 km south-east of Carolina (via R332).
Excellent Export grade RB1-quality coal is extracted by means of both open-cast and underground mining methodologies and the estimated recoverable run-of-mine coal totals around one-million tons.
Coastal Fuels beneficiation plant is situated less than 1km from the mining operations.
